My Story
With the soul of a devoted servant and the spirit of a warrior, Jean Stephens, author of "Father Gives & Takes Away" and "The Journey Home 90-Day Devotional," walks a path divinely ordained. Her life, a testament to unwavering obedience, is poured into Angels In Waiting 91:4, a non-profit ministry born of a sacred call. Every triumph, every moment, is a humble offering, a symphony of praise to her Heavenly Father, Jesus Christ, as she yearns for this sacred work to remain nameless and faceless, a pure conduit of His grace.
Beyond her literary pursuits and profound ministry, Jean is, at her core, a passionate devotee of Jesus Christ. Her days are woven with the threads of scripture, each verse a beacon guiding her relentless pursuit of biblical understanding. Her world is rich with love: a steadfast wife, a mother to five cherished sons and three "angel babies," her heart expanding to embrace several daughters-in-law. Her joy, boundless and infectious, echoes in the laughter of seven beautiful grandchildren, her "Mawmaw" title worn with boundless affection. And in her home, two loyal boxers, Queen Esther and Moses, stand guard, silent companions in her extraordinary journey. This past year, she faced the heartbreaking loss of Malachi, her loyal emotional support dog, to cancer. Despite her grief, the journey must move forward.
Her journey, however, began in a different realm.
For years, the intricate world of dentistry held her captive, a passion that consumed her until the divine whisper shifted her focus. Today, she is an active pillar of her local church, her spiritual growth nurtured by the teachings of KINEO Ministry Training Center, where she delved deeper into the sacred texts, forging an even profounder connection with the Word.
In her own resonant words, Jean Stephens declares her essence: "I am the daughter of the King, Most High, and I will NOT be shaken! I am His!" Like a modern-day Esther, she recognizes her moment in time, convinced she was born for this very purpose: to be a vessel for God Almighty, destined to bring salvation to her entire family. She feels the Lord's hand, training and preparing her for the unfolding days, her unique calling demanding a preparation equally distinct. He has summoned her from the shadows, anointed her to be a radiant light in a world often cloaked in darkness. The fullness of His power descends upon her, and she walks in the luminous embrace of His glory. She feels the compelling pull towards a place of profound influence, a calling to touch countless lives. With a humble heart, she offers herself as an empty vessel, echoing the prophet Isaiah's cry, "Lord, here I am…use me!"
With every breath, Jean embraces who she is becoming, confident that the divine light will pierce through her. She rests, unwavering, in the boundless love of her Father, knowing with every fiber of her being that she is precisely who He declares her to be.
